About us

Mechanical parking meters were invented 75 years ago in 1935 and they have not advanced much. Most of the machines still use a mechanical mechanism to set the timer and collect the nickels, dimes and quarters. Some of the more recent adaptations use credit card readers, others use a central communal meter and some systems use built in sensors to determine if a vehicle is there or not. Some are integrating cell phones for alternative payments. Most of these designs are expensive to install, require large capital outlays and endless repair fees. And all share a common denominator - they are at fixed outside locations so they have to be built to maintain weather extremes and physical abuse.

Park N Meter a is not mechanical, thwarts violators, is dynamic, generates cash for every parking location and is free to merchants, Municipalities and drivers. Using location, cell phones or smart phones, computers, networks and more provide the building blocks to solve Municipalities’ vehicle parking management issues. Technology changes the old external meter to a virtual meter as an application within devices.
